    A friend recently wrote an article for this magazine that opened with the statement “I’m a third year now which means I’m old” (he’s 20). For those amongst you who have come straight from college to university, this could be viewed as a humourous, nonchalant statement from someone who has almost hit 21, looking back on their time at university whilst preparing for the world beyond graduation.
