Barn on the Farm, an independent music festival known for discovering new up and coming artists, have announced more acts to join their already impressive line-up. The intimate festival, which is set on a small Gloucestershire farm, recently announced new additions Dan Croll and Rag n Bone Man, who will both headline the outdoor stage over the weekend. Other new acts include Eliza and the Bear, Fickle Friends, VANT, Port Isla, The Amazons and many more.
Plus, for the first time ever, popular veterans of the festival Gabrielle Aplin, Hudson Taylor, Joe Keogh from Amber Run and Hannah Grace will come together to form the Farm Band, who will take to the main stage over the weekend. Aplin said: “I’m super excited to be playing Barn on the Farm again, this year in a sort of ‘super group’ with my best friends. We’re old friends and fans of Barn on the Farm so we’re honoured to be back performing something a little different.”
The new additions to the line up will join previously announced acts, including headliner and Brits Critics’ Choice Winner Jack Garratt, singer-songwriter Frances, ‘Girls’ hit-maker Will Joseph Cook and Irish singer Gavin James.
Barn on the Farm was established back in 2009 with a handful of acts performing on stage at the Gloucestershire farm. Over the years the site, ticket sales and line-up have grown, allowing more emerging talent to be showcased in the beautifully intimate setting.
During the past eight years, internationally renowned artists have taken to the barn’s stages including Ed Sheeran, James Bay, Hozier, Ben Howard, Catfish and the Bottlemen, George Ezra, Wolf Alice and Bastille, to name but a few.
Whilst some of the names on this years line-up may be unfamiliar, the wide range of acts across the weekend, including the intimate performers still to be announced on the Friday night, bring variety and diversity to the farm. That combined with the numerous food and drinks stalls that the farm prides itself on, and the friendly farm animals welcoming you to the site, there is something for everyone at the festival this year.
Barn on the Farm will be taking place from 1st – 3rd July 2016 at Over Farm, Gloucestershire. Weekend plus Intimate Friday tickets have now sold out but sole Weekend tickets are still available from the festival’s website here. The full line-up can be seen below:
