Here at the T’HUD office, we get quite a lot of emails. And I mean, a lot. The other day I finished work to find 18 emails waiting for me, all from various PR people offering us access to events and stuff, usually a lot of it isn’t very good. Until today, when deleting and deleting through the big long list, something caught my eye. Deliveroo had something to say to us.
That’s right! Deliveroo, the “on-demand delivery service for high-quality restaurant meals” is coming to Huddersfield. Not only are they bringing glorious food to our tiny town’s grateful doorsteps, they’re also bringing jobs. They are looking for riding enthusiasts who enjoy cycling as a hobby or individuals who are looking for a way to keep fit, with the added benefit of making some extra money. Don’t like cycling? You can even take a motorbike or scooter.
“The team is looking for people with passion, drive and great customer service, who are seeking the added benefit of flexible hours amongst other perks. We would encourage anyone looking for a fast paced and exciting atmosphere to apply through our website.”
To apply, visit deliveroo.co.uk/apply. If you’re not here for the job and just want to know what kind of food you can get delivered for your Sunday morning hangover, visit their website here. I don’t know about you, but I can feel my debit card crying already.
